Notes
Related patterns
Similar
切る claims plain exhaustiveness with no implied struggle (読み切る, every last page); 抜く adds that the subject pushed through resistance or hardship to get there (やり抜く、生き抜く), so 楽に抜いた reads almost as a contradiction.
Lookalikes
Same 抜 character, unrelated jobs — the verb 抜く's ますstem intensifies persistence THROUGH an ongoing action (走り抜く, push all the way through); 抜きで's 抜き is a noun meaning "omission," pulling an expected element OUT of an event before it starts (朝食抜きで) — one adds effort, the other subtracts an ingredient.
