Variant notes
- に伴い — て-drop — written narration, news, and official documents; sits naturally before another clause without て (少子化に伴い、対策が急がれている).
- に伴う — sits directly before a noun, not mid-clause — 台風に伴う交通の乱れ "traffic disruption accompanying the typhoon"; に伴って cannot sit in that slot.

Both render "as X, so Y," but につれて demands a GRADUAL, causally linked proportional change on both sides, while に伴って also covers a single accompanying event with no gradient at all (地震に伴って津波が発生した — the earthquake and the tsunami are not a gradient) — に伴って also skews more formal and written (news reports, official notices) than につれて's more neutral everyday use.
とともに's "as X, so Y" reading and に伴って largely overlap, but とともに also covers flat ACCOMPANIMENT with no change on either side at all (家族とともに暮らす — no change is implied), which に伴って cannot express (?家族に伴って暮らす is odd) — に伴って is restricted to a linked change or event and skews toward formal reportage more than とともに does.
