Variant notes
- なんとかして — spells out the effort — by whatever means it takes; it leans on a wish or a resolve (なんとかして手に入れたい), where bare なんとか prefers an outcome already reached.
Notes
なんとか遅れずに済んだ. A different word shares the string: 田中
なんとかさん is "so-and-so".
